Dateline Beginning of Time: I've always been a drawing person. I used to sit in my highchair and doodle on construction paper with a marker grasped with a fist. My first masterpiece was a smiley face. Then came the next big milestone. The first original character. Now, I was a kid that was really effected by Nintendo, and even at three, I was a master at Super Mario Bros., Contra, Duck Hunt, and the ultimate game ever made and still my favorite: Legends of Zelda. So I melded two of the games together to make one very cool stud-muffin. Commando Jones was created. He was a Super Mario invincibility star that had Link's sword and shield (from Zelda) with a bandana on. Hey, for a three year old, that is pretty honkin' good!

Dateline Second Grade: I wanted to draw a comic book. My first totally original character was Sparky E. Bobcat. Boo yah. I made many, many pics with Sparky, made a whole family with him, and I got a few half comics books made. I never did finish one, unfortunately. Maybe sometime in the future I'll scan a picture you ya'll. He is one sweet-butt kitty.

Dateline Forth Grade: Our family got our first computer. More on computers in the next section.

Dateline Some Years Ago: I got the internet. Nuff said. I now have a medium to share my work on. Only one prob: I'm scanner impaired. Oh well. I was fascinated with the Internet I learned HTML within six months of having the Internet, and I was -young-. Like 10 or 11, I think... Oh, I'm getting old. I can't remember. I made a webpage on Geocities without knowing what the freak I was doing. This was when you were given 2 megs of space, and you couldn't fill that up! Now that is, what, 15 megs? *sheesh* So my webmaster carrier is started at a young age. By this time I've learned HTML, Javascript, QBasic, Virtual Basic, and a minuscule bit of C++. I am such a geek.

Dateline A Year After That: I get a scanner. Ready or not, here I come world!

Dateline Couple Days Ago: I got the No Doubt CD. I don't know why I told you that.

Dateline NOW: I'm writing a bio for myself on my new webpage for my comic strip, Bold Style. This is a dream come true, let me tellya. I knew that I would be making some sort of comic even when I was in that highchair If you wanna know more about my recent excursions in the net and Bold Style, click here.

Well, that's my horribly incomplete bio. I guess that was an autobiography, wasn't it? Oh well. Hope you enjoyed it! I'll be adding more eventually, because I left out about 99.9999% of my life out.

Keep on truckin!
-Jon Spengler
